Opening Hours: Daily from 08:00 to 23:00.

For fresh pizza in South Kensington, there is no better place to go that Pizzetta Pizza. This place is small, and informal, and serves some of the best food around.

The pizza is authentic, fresh, and the staff are fantastic. Pizza is sold in £3 slices. Pasta dishes are a mere £4.80, and soups are £2.50. The coffee is delicious too, as are the cakes.

For a fantastic deal, visit during Happy Hour on Thursdays from 17:00 to 20:00. They give you a free slice of pizza with every drink. Bargain!

Pizzetta Pizza also has another location in Victoria, with a Mayfair location coming soon. Reservations are not available for Pizzetta.

2. Bosphorus

Nearest Station: South Kensington
Address: 59 Old Brompton Road, South Kensington, London, SW7 3JS
Opening Hours: Daily from 11:00 to 23:30
Phone: 0207 584 4048

Walking past, this may seem like your normal local kebab shop, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. The food here is simply delicious, and prices are very affordable. Having been here for 40 years, it is a local staple.

Authentic Turkish kebabs are served in large portions including a pitta and salad, all for £6 to £7.50. If you are a fan of chips with your kebab, however, you won’t find those here.

There is a small seating area where you can eat in, or you can take away.

3. The Muffin Man Tea Shop

Nearest Stations: Earl’s Court and Gloucester Road
Address: 12 Wrights Lane, London, W8 6TA
Opening Hours: Monday to Saturday from 8:00 to 20:00, Sunday from 9:00 to 20:00
Phone: 0207 937 6652

For a great breakfast option, make Muffin Man a stop. With a full English breakfast available for £9.50, this tea shop provides value for money in the heart of Kensington.

It’s not just breakfast, however, as cakes, cupcakes and tea are available all day, as well as salads, sandwiches, paninis and soups. Most items on the menu are £2 to £4, with only a few items over £7.

This is a great place for a quick bite and you can make your meal as small or as large as you like with all the add-on items. Great for when you don’t need a full lunch or dinner.
